Paint and stitch an art quilt with Colleen Weste

Using French dyes you will paint a simple background picture.
The fabric is then lined with batting and cotton. You may choose to layer with other fabrics or paper(provided), or print  images.
We then machine embroider by dropping the feed dog and sewing freely. (It’s fun) You may choose to hand embroider if you wish.

If you love colour you will enjoy exploring ideas for 2and 3D effects.

Lots of samples to show you.motif angel
