Bayside Texture Arts Social Meeting July

NEW MEMBERS WELCOME: First meeting free. 

VENUE: Yurara Art Society, 262 Cleveland-Redlands Bay Rd, Thornlands

TIME: from 9:30am

ENTRY FEE: $5.00 entry fee (cash) and (optional) 50 cents for tea and coffee.
BRING: a name tag, Show and Tell items (new creations or old favourites), morning tea to share. 

Our Activity: Bead making
Ann Pizzato will lead our activity which will be bead making using a plastic product and heating it. She will prepare everything (including prepainting the plastic)  and demonstrate, then people can have go independently. 
If you own one, bring an item that can heat and melt the plastic such as a heat gun. Perhaps the heat tool used with embossing powders (card making) will do the job too. 

Things to bring:
Heat tool, rayon thread, ruler, pencil or fine tip permanent marker, scissors.
An option is to bring a rotary cutter and mat to use instead of scissors.
