Queensland AGM will be held.

Social meeting: NEW MEMBERS WELCOME: First meeting free. 
ENTRY FEE: $5.00 entry fee (cash), tea and coffee supplied

BRING: a name tag, Show and Tell items (new creations or old favourites), morning tea to share.

TEXTILE TASTER: Peyote Stitch
Cathie Boyle will show us how to make a basic peyote stitch square medallion with a simple flower image.

Peyote stitch is a really versatile stitch that can be worked in lots of ways from flat to sculptural free-form pieces, so a lovely one to learn. 
Cathie will supply all materials. A $2 donation (cash) towards costs would be welcome. 
Please bring:
-   sharp utility scissors (not good embroidery ones)
-    a rechargeable work light if you have one and think it might help. (The beads are very small.)
